Dutch Lady allocates RM340mil for new facilities in Seremban

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 17, 2020 – Dutch Lady Milk Industries Bhd (DLMI) has allocated RM340mil to build new manufacturing facilities in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan over the next five years.
“This investment is in line with DLMI’s long-term plans of improving its manufacturing capabilities to keep up with the demand for its products and with new consumer trends which will strengthen its ability to provide the goodness and nutritional value of milk to its customers,” it said.
The company, on Thursday, completed the acquisition of three plots of land in Bandar Baru Enstek, Seremban measuring 32.6 acres from Pelaburan Hartanah Bhd for RM56.8mil.
DLMI said it will build manufacturing and warehousing facilities, support facilities and office facilities at the site.
“The new facilities will be used for the manufacturing of DLMI’s dairy products with capacity and space for the manufacturing of other variations that the Company may produce,” it said.
The project is expected to start next year and will end in 2025.
